Family & the book · Rishi Roy
For my mother.
And for the families who know the sound of an evening timer.
In our home, that sound meant it was time for another eye drop.
My mother has lived with glaucoma for more than 15 years. My father became the keeper of the timers: the drops, the appointments, the small acts of care repeated night after night.
Watching them made me want to understand more. Those questions eventually became a book.
Our experience explains why I began. It cannot establish that a food, exercise or adjunct approach works.
BroccoBerry grew from that same curiosity. It now has a reader forum, two companion videos and a monthly newsletter sign-up.
Mum, this is for you. Dad, your quiet care is in these pages too.
If you support someone with glaucoma, I hope this feels familiar. The companion is linked below.
