Newsletter signup

We store your email address, signup time and record of consent to send Beyond the Blender monthly. The signup list is held in the site’s database, is available only through the owner’s management area, and is not displayed publicly.

After signup, Resend sends a confirmation email. Only confirmed addresses are added to our monthly newsletter audience. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link managed by Resend. Cloudflare hosts the website and its database; Resend processes email delivery, subscriber preferences and delivery events. We retain a consent record and respect unsubscribes. Unconfirmed signup records are removed after their confirmation link has expired for seven days. Contact us to request deletion.

Questions and discussions

We store your chosen display name, contribution, topic and submission time. Contributions enter a review queue before they can appear publicly. Don’t include medical records, contact details or other sensitive information. The site owner can approve, reply to or remove contributions.

Abuse prevention and external links

We use a short-lived, hashed request identifier to limit repeated submissions. It expires after the hourly window and is cleaned up on later submissions. We do not add advertising trackers. LinkedIn, Amazon and research sources have their own privacy practices.

Videos connect to YouTube or Vimeo only when you choose to load them. The site uses externally hosted fonts. Public pages do not require an account. The owner’s management area uses a secure session cookie that expires after 24 hours.
